Our Story
Our love of woodworking was passed down from our Grandfather in the early 1900's living in Lincoln Nebraska, his favorite woodworking line was "I cut it off twice and it's still too short". His passion passed to our Father who flourished after retiring from United Airlines, and finally to my brothers and I. Our Father would collect scrap wood from the local cabinet shops and create toy cars and trucks for the numerous children's hospitals in Southern California. Before his passing, we calculated he made over 10,000 wood cars and trucks and brightened just as many faces of children during their stay in the hospital.
In 2020, as I was walking down our stairs, the railing broke and I fell headfirst about 10 feet to the tile floor below. I suffered a bunch of broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. As a result, I retired from my job after 31 years as an electrical engineer and I am just starting out in the professional woodworking world. Woodworking has been a therapy and an outlet during my continued recovery. I hope you like the products I have to offer as I explore creating different projects and media.
